Russell Lea
This project consisted of the construction of a pool, outdoor living area, deck and outdoor kitchen to an existing house in Sydney’s Inner West suburb of Russell Lea. The pool was built directly up against the rear wall of the house to give it a fantastic visual connection from the house and to also maximize the remaining garden/lawn area for the family’s children to play. The pool is fully tiled and has a glass feature wall edge to the entire length of the pool again aiding to the visual connection from house to pool and garden.
The rear upstanding pool wall is clad in marble and has a linear strip water feature which creates interest and a feature even when the pool is not being used. As well as the pool Jakin also undertook the construction of a large deck and outdoor living area equipped with a full outdoor kitchen including sink, BBQ, teppanyaki plate, fridge and pizza oven. The rear yard was also landscaped with the inclusion of new fences, advanced Magnolia hedges and Buffalo lawn with automatic irrigation.
