Pool & cabana with major wow factor! This property had a very tired and unusable rear yard with many different levels and drainage issues. Jakin has totally re-modelled the outdoor spaces from the front gate to the rear fence and transformed it into an entertainer’s tropical paradise. The existing pool was completely stripped back to a bare shell, a round spa was added and a curved spill over infinity edge that has water cascading down into the newly built stone clad curved balance tank. The pool and spa have been fully tiled with a deep blue mosaic tile that gives it a true feeling of luxury. The pool is fully automated so the pool can be monitored and controlled remotely, and the
filtration is fully automatic. Sitting proudly beside the pool is a large cabana area that is fully fit out for entertaining including a full-size bar complete with ice machine, a standalone BBQ island with rangehood, pizza oven, dining table and a TV on a bracket that can be swivelled so the cricket can be watched from the pool. The entire area is paved in large format travertine stone with custom profiling and edging around the curved pool. The paving also extends down towards the house to a centrally located bench seat area complete with firepit. A vast array of planting species has been used to create intimate spaces and mature planting also used to create statement pieces.
