This renovation & extension of an existing home in Vaucluse is a perfect example of how a well thought out and designed pool & garden can make a huge difference to the look and feel of a home to create a luxury private oasis.

The modern extension to the rear of the home has a unique and visually striking curved roofline, constructed with roll formed structural steel to create the wave-like look which also cantilevers out over the outdoor dining and living spaces to give cover. The rear elevation of the home is almost entirely made up with large floor to ceiling stacking doors to create a great connection to the pool and garden and to enable a seamless link from indoor to outdoor living spaces.
The connection from in to out has also been achieved by the running the same natural sandstone “crazy paving” throughout the interior, exterior and around the pool.

In addition to the rear extension the remaining house was fully renovated including bathrooms, kitchen, windows, flooring and painting. All services and plumbing lines were replaced so the house works as new.

A key feature of the house is the large swimming pool and extensive landscaping including an eclectic mix of planting to give the home a luxury, laid back Palm Springs feel.
