This home epitomises the Jakin Luxury Living brand. An award-winning project for best design and build the large resort-style home in Kenthurst Sydney has been built around a central courtyard and showpiece swimming pool. The entire home, pool and landscaping of this 5-acre property has been meticulously designed and built by Jakin. The brief for this project was to create a large house that still felt “homely” with an open plan layout including formal lounge rooms that can be closed off if desired. This was achieved by designing a U-shaped home that has been built around the central courtyard giving every room direct access to the outside and natural light.
To work with the clients lifestyle a large emphasis was put on the indoor/outdoor connection and this was a major factor in the design with walls of bi-fold doors opening onto the large alfresco terrace with an fully equipped outdoor kitchen including a built in BBQ, pizza oven, beverage fridge, sink and a separate pool cabana with bathroom and a one of a kind outdoor feature shower.
