This project is a large resort-style home in Kenthurst, Sydney. Jakin undertook the complete design, council process and build of the home, pool and landscaping. During the design phase the site conditions and client’s lifestyle are always considered and the Northern pool orientation was to ensure that the pool received as much sun as possible.
The pool, spa and infinity edge are fully tiled with glass mosaic tiles and the pool coping is large format classic travertine. The pool equipment set up is fully automated and state of the art to keep the pool water clarity perfect and reduce energy consumption.
Another striking feature are the custom-made fire/water bowls that are positioned in each corner of the pool and can be seen from throughout the home. This pool is a perfect example of being not just a great space for exercise and leisure but also creates a beautiful back drop for day to day living and entertaining year-round helping to create a luxury lifestyle.
As well as the home and pool Jakin also undertook the massive landscaping works including sandstone retaining walls, land levelling, planting, turfing, irrigation and the driveway.
